As an organizing tray, the tray provides functional organization possibilities and can be used to keep things tidy on a tabletop and close at hand.
It is hand-crafted from a single 6"x12" aluminum sheet. The flanges on the long side are bent to 60° to create an inviting gesture for users to place objects inside the tray. The short flanges serve solely as a means of confining objects to the tray, so they are bent to an ordinary 90°.
In contrast to the tray's established area, the long flanges grow beyond the length of the tray to create a unique character.
